Random Picker
Paste a list, one item per line, and pick at random. Your list stays in this browser.
Blank lines are ignored. Duplicate lines are treated as separate entries unless No duplicates is on.
How to use it
- Type or paste your options, one per line.
- Choose how many to pick.
- Press Pick random item. Every eligible entry has the same chance; with No duplicates on, matching lines count once.
Options
No duplicates merges identical lines, so "Pizza" entered twice counts once. Remove winner after pick takes each picked item off the list, which is useful for raffles, turn order or drawing names one at a time.
FAQ
Is the pick really random?
Yes. It uses an unbiased random number generator built on your browser's Web Crypto API. Every eligible entry has the same chance; with No duplicates on, matching lines count once.
Is my list sent anywhere?
No. The list stays in this tab and is cleared when you close it. Turn on Remember this list to keep it on this device. Clear list removes it.
What can I use it for?
Any choice you type out: where to eat, which movie to watch, who does the dishes or which task to start first.
Can I pick more than one?
Yes. Choose 2, 3 or Custom. Items in one pick never repeat.
